IUNGO: The Reinvention of the Internet [strikes again]

The availability of the internet is not an issue for many living in Europe or North America – coverage is sufficient allowing most people to browse news portals, interact with social platforms or even work remotely. Unfortunately this is a luxury for many around the globe.

Over 4.3 Billion people are still unable to reap the fruits of the internet as it is unavailable to them. That is more than half the globes population who still have no access to Facebook or even know about email. IUNGO will change this.

IUNGO – Internet for everybody

IUNGO is an innovative team of socially responsible IT professionals with an idea to change the word for the better. They believe that universal, affordable internet access is a basic human right which must be ensured anywhere in the world.

A large number of enterprises, governments and international organisations have thus far failed to achieve global internet access due to their centralized approaches which have resulted in expensive infrastructure, substandard maintenance, unscalable systems and lack of grassroots incentives. This has been even more of a problem in developing regions who suffer from low incomes.

Tokenized closed loop economy

The IUNGO project has a different approach and has created a decentralized global network of internet suppliers and consumers with a Token based economy which is powered by a closed loop of economic and civic incentives. Every individual or business anywhere in the world can start earning residual income by offering fast, affordable and secure internet access to their community, clients or citizens. It doesn’t matter whether this is in the middle of London, Arctic Siberia or far inland in Ghana. For example: a small village in the middle of Africa where electricity might be generated using solar systems and satellite based broadband is no longer limited to the individual paying for the service as they can earn tokens for sharing it with the community via IUNGO.

The advantages for consumers consist of fast, secure, instantaneous WiFI internet access anywhere in the world. No forms to fill in, no risk of personal data being stolen, no extortionate hidden roaming charges.

Freemium business model

A Freemium concept will be one of the key components of IUNGO’s processes. There will be several forms of services that every user can access for free. However, there will also be additional paid options that can be purchased through ING tokens. For example additional add-ons will include VPN connections for total privacy, enterprise grade security for travelling professionals and extreme high speed etc…

Business services

Business services such as marketing tools like user emailing services and in app advertising will also be offered.

Third party services will also be welcome. The increased effectiveness of faster reach is only possible with the technology that is open for everybody to use, upgrade and improve. Therefore, IUNGO will be using open source software and all other companies as well as individuals with great ideas can easily implement them to make this network even better. These third party services will also leverage IUNGO tokens for payment creating an ecosystem of applications operating on top of the core IUNGO protocol/ framework.

Our people deserve better

Internet.org announced its plans to cover the planet with the internet however despite this promising effort it has been unable to enact global change. One of the main reasons is due to its centralized concept. For example it cannot work properly where there is no stable supply of electricity or personalised infrastructure.

Another reason for the stagnent growth is in order to reach every single village in Africa, India or elsewhere is not realistic for profit seeking telecommunication firms nor will it ever be due to the high running costs and limited revenues.

This results in a vicious circle where no infrastructure means no internet, no internet means lack of skills and lack of skills suffers because no internet access is available to learn.

IUNGO’s decentralized solution removes these barriers where centralized solutions by governments, International Organisations like the UN and even global technology giants have failed. By leveraging Ethereum’s ERC20 technology to create the framework for a decentralized, incentive based global mesh network, the IUNGO Network will scale infrastructure to areas of the world where governments have failed and profit seeking corporate giants did not see enough margin.

This ICO is a force for good in the world

IUNGO has already achieved a number of goals. They have already developed the working solution and the MVP. It is now being tested and will soon be ready to hit the market. Further development will depend on the success of the ICO (Initial Coin Offering). IUNGO has also already sold over 1.3 million tokens on their pre-ICO fundraising campaign resulting in a clear need for such services.

Token Generation Event (ICO) starts on the 7th of December 2018.

Internet access is a basic human right and this time it is also up to YOU to decide whether to bring it to the developing world or not.
