Wysdom.AI, the most mature full-stack cognitive care platform for automating customer journey management, announced today their partnership with the Vector Institute for artificial intelligence (AI) to solve industry challenges and share research around the adoption of AI in the enterprise.

With four years of experience operating enterprise AI systems in the telecommunications, insurance and finance industries, Wysdom.AI provides the AI framework, operational tools, and a massive AI training data library to enterprise clients to deliver cognitive customer care to their customers. By joining forces with Vector, Wysdom is able to share its industry experience and strategy with other Canadian AI startups and gain access to some of the country’s smartest academics in AI, machine learning, and deep learning research.

“Artificial intelligence based systems are poised to take off in the enterprise,” said Wysdom CEO and Cofounder, Ian Collins. “After experimenting with AI for the last few years, companies have realized that the results with AI are superior to legacy systems and are looking at how to replace those older systems over the next 5 years.  We were lucky to launch real enterprise clients back in 2014 with millions of end customers and have learned what it takes to be successful in this industry. Combining our team that is experienced with day to day enterprise challenges with Vector’s academic and research talents we can solve the hardest problems facing the enterprise in adopting AI.”

Mary Meeker’s most recent internet trends report shows enterprises are increasing their AI budgets in 2018 in anticipation of mass industry disruption. Rules-based, decision-making software is transitioning to AI. Enterprises are adapting quickly to the new normal lest they risk being left behind – AI is delivering a competitive advantage.

“Contributing to the goal of furthering Canada’s leadership position in artificial intelligence coincides perfectly with Wysdom’s mission,” said Collins. “What we get in return from the Vector Institute is invaluable: access to some of the most talented AI leaders and cutting-edge research while boosting the country’s knowledge economy.”

Launched in partnership with the University of Toronto, and with support from two levels of government and businesses across the Canadian economy, the Vector Institute’s goal is to help build and maintain Canada’s position on the scientific forefront of artificial intelligence research and development. With luminary talents such as Geoffrey Hinton as its Chief Scientific Advisor and Richard Zemel as Research Director, Vector achieves its goals by combining academic and industry strengths across the innovation ecosystem in Toronto and Canada; bringing together universities, institutions, start-ups, scale-ups, incubators, accelerators, and enterprises. Wysdom.AI is the latest addition to the Vector Institute’s Bronze sponsor group.

“Wysdom.AI has the success and experience to help build the country’s artificial intelligence community and propel Canada’s AI ecosystem to the next level. As a sponsor and partner, we look forward to collaborating with Vector, sharing knowledge with the community at large, and helping them overcome some of the toughest challenges in enterprise AI adoption,” said Tony Vlismas, VP Marketing, Wysdom.

Wysdom was recently named a top ten AI solution by CIO Applications, awarded two new patents, and has had a successful year transforming digital support for enterprise customers including C Spire, Virgin Mobile USA, Digicel, Assurant, and other major North American enterprises. A recent Microsoft for Startups case study highlights how Wysdom achieved some of this success.
