Cympire Executes Black Hat 2018 Check Point Cyber Challenge
LAS VEGAS – Sept. 2, 2018 – PRLog — Cympire, a leading provider of cyber training solutions, has been tapped by Check Point to execute the Black Hat 2018 Cyber Challenge. The challenge took place last month during the Black Hat 2018 conference, the most technical and relevant information security event in the world.
Participants encountered a set of challenging hacking missions on Cympire’s SPARTA platform, a world leading, fully gamified cyber training system. The players acted as a cyber Incident-Response expert attending a cyber conference in Las Vegas, called upon to assist a small casino attacked by ransomware. On their journey to assist the miserable Casino owner, players had to demonstrate their skills in reversing, ransomware, malware and mobile forensics, crypto and more.
“We are proud to have been trusted by Check Point with the creation and execution of the Black Hat 2018 Check Point Cyber Challenge,” said Ophir Bear, Cympire Co-Founder and CEO. “This was an amazing opportunity for us to demonstrate our cyber training philosophy of hands-on training using our fully gamified platform. It was exciting to see how top cyber professionals enjoy learning and sharpening their skills, while competing with each other in an engaging environment such as SPARTA.”
“Cympire created and executed the cyber challenge in record time and were amazing to work with,” said Inbal Pearlson, HackingPoint™
